Palacio de Los Numeros, one of the fastest growing and most successful operators in the Mexican gaming market, recently opened its first table games operation Casino Palace. The brand new luxurious facility features a full range of casino games, including Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, and Poker. TCSJOHNHUXLEY was chosen to supply the tables as well as Chipper Champ 2, e-FX Classic Displays, ICON chips and accessories.

One of the major operators in Mexico, Palacio de Los Numeros has a strong, well-established history in the machines market, so table games were the natural progression for their business. Casino owner Martin Fuentes made contact with the TCSJOHNHUXLEY Costa Rica team, David Charnock and Gabriela Villalobos, over a year before the casino was due to open. During that time they developed a good working relationship interacting closely with Martin and his team.

Changing times for Venezuela Further south in Venezuela, although gambling is legalized in this country, operations are quite limited and well controlled by the authorities, with many establishments working under a legal judicial 'Amparo' (habeas corpus finding). At the beginning of the year, the Government revoked many of such ‘Amparos’, resulting in a number of bingo facilities with slot machines being closed.

TCSJOHNHUXLEY has recently visited the cities of Caracas, Maracaibo and Isla Margarita to get a closer understanding of the situation in the region. The largest casino in Venezuela is Gran Casino Margarita, operated by the Spanish giant Cirsa, which is located in the cultural and leisure centre called Nueva Esparta, in the luxury hotel, Hilton Margarita & Suites, overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Gran Casino Margarita features 34 table games and more than 200 casino slot machines. In addition to this is an exclusive VIP Salon as well as an array of restaurants, bars and live music entertainment. TCSJOHNHUXLEY were very pleased to have supplied the new VIP salon a few months ago with a range of tables featuring the latest technology, roulette wheels and winning number displays. The new salon strongly features Midi Baccarat which caters to the important Asian community of players.

In addition to the VIP equipment, TCSJOHNHUXLEY also installed a CardRoomMagic system. This poker system solution caters brilliantly for the Casino's many tournaments and high levels of players providing automation of labour-intensive administration, giving greater security, reduced wastage and delivering better service and communication to players. Tamanaco Group, operating from their main Casino in Venezuela's capital city of Caracas is currently seeing an increase in visitor numbers due to the temporary closure of the Bingo facilities operating around the city. TCSJOHNHUXLEY has supplied Tamanaco Group with Chipper Champ chippers some months ago and are in the process of working with the casino to supply Smoke Away systems on some of their tables.
