APEX Gaming provided a real London highlight

‘Pinnacle’ IGE Review

The demand for the gaming solutions from APEX Gaming has steadily increased ever since the company’s foundation back in 2003. The company philosophy is embedded in the logo - the goal from day one was to reach the apex, in other words the summit of gaming solutions. Combining this with the new products on display, APEX gaming management wisely decided to take a top position at the IGE in London.

The IGE exhibition has grown to become the most important gaming show in the world. It was therefore fitting for APEX Gaming to unveil major new innovations – the ‘Pinnacle’ cabinet, the electronic ‘Quikker’ electronic gaming table and the ‘Multi Magic Classic’ games package.

This Austrian company places utmost emphasis on providing new solutions to the market, improving industry technology to the benefit of the customer. “This is how we have grown to become such an important gaming solution manufacturer in the gaming market”, explains Mr. Johannes Weissengruber, the company’s founder and CEO. The ‘Pinnacle’ cabinet underlines the strict implementation of the company strategy. The ‘Pinnacle’ incorporates two 22” monitors in a dual-slim cabinet. The Dolby Surround Sound™ is so integrated that players enjoy a real acoustic experience. Furthermore, the ‘Pinnacle’ has been constructed to allow utmost flexibility, thus allowing customers to choose between several options such as player tracking and TITO, which are all available together.

‘Quikker’ is a completely new game. Combining the thrills of roulette and black jack, players can bet on the numerous combinations of two cards. The stake depends on the mathematical probability of these two cards appearing. The beauty of ‘Quikker’ is that it is so simple to learn. It offers hours of fun with its great variation of bets and so stakes. ‘Quikker’ is just at home as a high-stake electronic table in the VIP area as well as a low-stake sector for street gaming. A major advantage for operators is that they purchase not only ‘Quikker’ - Texas Hold’em Poker is also included. Therefore, operators can choose which game to offer at the times of the day that best suits them and their customers. The Electronic ‘Quikker’ and Poker Table is available as a six-player (LS-06), eight-player (LS-08) or ten-player version (LS-10) version. Customers have a wide range of table colour to choose from – namely red, blue, green and black. The components reflect the highest quality available – such as the 17” touchscreen monitors, the bill acceptors and smart card readers. The software has been designed to be user friendly with multi-lingual screen menus. Furthermore, maintenance is simple so that operators can profit from this popular electronic card table for a long time to come.

Mr. Weissengruber comments on the success of ‘Quikker’: “ ‘Quikker’ was a real highlight for many visitors to the IGE. But it is not only operators who see real value in this product. We had in-depth conversations with several major gaming companies who wish to include ‘Quikker’ in their products. This then really highlights how popular ‘Quikker’ will become”.

Software innovation plays a key role for APEX Gaming. Each and every game is tried and tested as a single game before it is introduced into a multi-game package. Customers know and trust that they are getting true value for money when purchasing games packages from APEX Gaming. The ‘Multi Magic Classic’ games package is a collection of the best 20 games from Multi Magic I to IV. Each of these games packages contains ten game in total. Mr. Weissengruber explains, “Customers value quality games. We have placed the emphasis from day one on quality and not quantity. We are in a technical position to offer a large number of games in a package. However, this would not reflect our philosophy. We package our games so that each game remains in focus. The fact that markets that offered larger numbers of games per package are now offering a much reduced number underlines our philosophy”.

Therefore, APEX Gaming brought a number of major new innovations to the IGE in London. The new ‘Pinnacle’ cabinet, along with the ‘Quikker’ electronic game table and the new ‘Multi Magic Classic’ games package were the show highlight for many a show visitor. (E-02.16.10)
