Global online gaming operator, Stan James Plc has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Racing2day LLC, an online horse racing wagering business run by horse racing owners, players, handicappers and fans. Racing2day was incorporated in Delaware in 2007 and has been looking to raise finance for over 18 months. Trading as Racing2Day.com the company provides online betting on horseracing from over 350 racecourses worldwide including the US, UK, Australia, Argentina and Dubai. The site operates under a multi-jurisdictional licence granted by the Oregon Racing Commission and is based in the US. It offers pari-mutuel horse race wagering online at www.racing2day.com and via its 24/7 call centre operation.
