Ritzio Entertainment Group expansion into Eastern Europe and beyond

FUTURE GROWTH ON THE CARDS

This week Ritzio Entertainment Group (REG) announced the results of its operations in Romania and its entrance into new markets in the Czech Republic and Belarus. The company was established in 2002 and has since become a leading international operator in entertainment and recreation. REG now has over 900 gaming clubs, 12 casinos and 2 entertainment centres in 10 countries including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Baltic states as well as Romania. Last Year Ritzio expanded into the Latin American market and has a presence in Peru, Bolivia and Mexico.

With a mission to provide top quality entertainment and recreation services, REG aims to achieve international corporation status over all key performance indicators and to become a public listed company with its stocks listed on an international stock exchange. In the eighteen months that the company has had a presence in Romania, it has become the third largest gaming operator in the country. REG has now entered the markets in the Czech Republic with 31 clubs under the Grand Prix brand and in Belarus with 17 gaming clubs under the Vulcan brand.

The company expects to open 20 new clubs in Belarus and to acquire local Czech operators to take at least 15% of that market. Romania was the first country in Eastern Europe where REG entered the gaming market, a choice made because of its entry into the EU, consistent legislation and absence of large competitors. Future plans include the opening of 10 new clubs in large regional cities. Ritzio Romania has opened 12 ‘Million’ clubs and presently operates in 8 cities. (E-04.25.07)
