Peruvian architect Willie Gomez-Moron, famous for his casino designs in Las Vegas, Vienna, Sharm el Sheik and elsewhere, has created the height of elegance for the latest Ritzio casino to open. Tomorrow Ritzio International will launch a premium class Allegre Casino in the city of Medellin, Colombia, and the property will become the country's most luxurious gaming environment yet seen, offering the highest level of service to upscale clientele in the heart of the city.
The 2,600 square-meter venue features 490 state-of-the-art gaming machines and 25 tables for Blackjack, Baccarat, Caribbean Stud, and a double zero Roulette. Poker players are provided with a special treat, the Poker Room, which allows playing of the game on six tables. For premium guests the Allegre Casino offers an opulent VIP lounge to enjoy gaming in a more intimate and relaxing atmosphere. In addition to the main gaming floor the property also provides a performance area with a stage for band concerts, dance and lounge act entertainment. Two cozy bars, located near the stage and the VIP zone, seat 52 persons and entice clients to enjoy a martini between gaming sessions.
An amazing selection of the latest games is not the only advantage of Allegre's slots area. The casino machines utilize cashless technology, bringing additional convenience to the customer on the gaming floor at all times. The machines' on-time administration is performed by SmartBoss online management system, used by Ritzio in many other countries.
Allegre is designed by prominent Peruvian architect Willy Gomez-Moron, who decorated Admiral Prater Casino in Vienna , Austria , Ritzio's New York Casino in Lima , Peru and other large gaming environments in Latin America . The property features classical casino decor with elegant touches of Latin American patterns interspersed around the venue. Richly textured furnishings, flashing gaming machines and inlaid marble floors create a feeling of a Las Vegas luxury casino, while grandiose palm-crowned columns and a bright carpet with native Indian emblems bring a unique local flavour to the interiors. Stone and other natural materials, as well as various decorative elements for Allegre, arrived in Medellin from Europe, Egypt and North America.
"This new up-market entertainment destination will be a positive addition to the local attractions," said Andres Jimenez Sanchez, General Manager of Ritzio Colombia . "We have done our best to create an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and provide exclusive gaming opportunities to our guests." Loyalty cards, big prize tournaments and live entertainment will be launched on the Grand Opening date, February 6, when Vegas-type luxuries will become available for guests.
The new casino opening has created 340 new jobs, providing a variety of opportunities for locals ranging from professional technicians and managers to single mothers, to whom Allegre offered secure employment and financial stability. The casino already has filled all employment positions, including ones in operations, management, marketing, human resources, engineering, logistics, security, food service, cashiers and many others.
