With the announcement by WestVille Enterprises that it is postponing The Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference 2007, which had been scheduled for June 12 & 13 in San Juan, the gaming event SAGSE CentroAmerica in Panama will this year be the only one taking place in the Caribbean region. The conference in Puerto Rico will be back in 2008 and details of the reformatted meeting should be released soon.
In the meantime the show organised by Grupo de Inversiones Latinoamericanos de Juego (GRP Inversiones) is getting ready for June 14 & 15 at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama. The major international slot machine manufacturers and gaming suppliers will be exhibiting at SAGSE CentroAmerica and the American Congress of Gaming Regulators IV will bring together regulators from Argentina, Chile, Maxico, Peru, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica and Colombia.
AINSWORTH GAME TECHNOLOGY, BALLY, BETSTONE, DEK INTERNATIONAL, EXCELLENCE GROUP S.R.L, FOURNIER, FRONTIER, GAMING PARTNERS INTERNATIONAL (GPI), GLOBAL PAYMENT TECHNOLOGIES, INC., KONAMI, and TCS JOHN HUXLEY are just some of the companies exhibiting in Panama. SAGSE CentroAmerica covers the entire Caribbean and Central American region.
