Latin America's foremost expo confirms major gaming players

SAGSE BUENOS AIRES 2005 IS NEARLY FULL

At this rate Monografie, organizers of the region's most important gaming showroom - SAGSE Buenos Aires - may just have to see how they can increase the already enlarged expo area for this year's event at the Costa Salguero Convention Center on November 9-11. According to Giorgio Gennari, Monografie president, "SAGSE counts with a 15,000 m2 property which is, to this date, 90% engaged. This edition will be a must-see, transcendent event for all professionals of the sector."

The SAGSE Buenos Aires event is in its 13th year, and is arguably the third largest in the world, having consolidated the industry support during the past two years when the presence of another expo caused some turmoil in this charming city. Indeed, last November's event was such a raging success that some exhibitors showing at both events in Buenos Aires vented their frustration indicating that they would do an "include out" from this year's events. Fortunately, good sense has prevailed, and the SAGSE event continues.

In his usual reassuring way, Gennari has said that: "SAGSE- Buenos Aires will be the largest, most dynamic and organized expo of all that have previously been made. There will be a significant amount of events that will soon be described in detail." Amongst the major players that have already confirmed their presence are: Alfa Street, Aristocrat Argentina, Cash Code, Dek International, Elo Touch Systems, Extreme Games, Gamey, Gaming Signs, GPT, Gold Club, GPI, Fournier, Nova Desitec, Octavian. Recreativos Franco, TCS John Huxley, Unidesa, WMS Williams, and many other local and international industry majors.

One of the most impressive sights at the Sagse-Centroamerica event was the presentation of the CAIJA section. This is the Chamber of the Argentinean Gaming Industry, whose support for this event must be applauded. The casino pavilion of November's event will feature Casino Buenos Aires - CIRSA, Casino Mendoza, Casinos de Entre Rios, and a host of local gaming organizations and international media, where Casino International, Games Argentina, and Casinos de Latinoamerica lead the pack.
