Panama's first gaming expo is just over a month away

SAGSE-CENTROAMERICA FULLY BOOKED

The organizers of Panama's first gaming expo announced yesterday that SAGSE-Centro America 2005, to be held during May 26-27 in Panama City has been sold out one month before the event at the ATLAPA Convention Center. According to Pinky van der Hans, Coordinator for SAGSE-Centroamérica, "There can be no doubt that selling the total exhibition area for the first edition of a fair is a great success. This did not happen even at the first London or Las Vegas fairs."

Ms van der Hans added: "Now that this part of our work is done, our next aim is to increase the number of visitors and buyers. The confirmations we have received over the Internet point to a large number of professionals from Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Spain, Italy and, of course, Panama."

"We still have one month," concluded Ms van der Hans, "to polish off these details, and to prepare the '2nd American Congress of Gaming Regulators', which most government representatives from Central and South America have confirmed that they will be attending."

The Korean Company Intas will be exhibiting for the first time in Latin America with their brand ACE, and there is already great interest in a new and novel slots platform that will be unveiled to the industry for the first time. Additionally, Intas will feature their high selling Royal Derby Horse Racing game, especially redesigned for the Latin American market. (E-04.26.05)
