South Africa’s Peermont Group has renamed its two refurbished casinos the Sedibeng Casino in Francistown, and Syringa Casino in Selibe Phikwe. Both the casinos are operating on licenses acquired from Admiral Casinos this July, and have been opened for business. Denominations at both casinos range from 1 Thebe to 1 Pula, with a good mix of traditional reel and multi-line video product. Both casinos are cashless, which provides significant benefits to both casino and guests.
Bruce Page-Wood, the Regional Chief Operating Officer of Peermont said: “Peermont has chosen new names for the casinos that have relevance to the areas in which each one is situated. Sedibeng means 'natural water source', which in this case is the Tati River - a very important part of Francistown. Syringa is the name of the hotel in which the casino is situated, as well as a link to the great Syringa tree that grows right in front of the casino.”
According to Page-Wood, the Sedibeng Casino has 50 slot machines while Syringa has 30 slot machines, which will increase the total number of slot machines operated by Peermont in Botswana to 220. Both properties are the newest in their areas, offering the latest slot machines, great value for money and the most convenient locations.
Peermont is South Africa's most locally empowered hospitality and gaming
Company, and has excellent track record in the design, development, management, ownership and operation of multi-faceted integrated resorts. This includes hotels, casinos, convention centres, retail outlets, restaurants, bars and other sport and entertainment facilities. (E-12.19.07)
