Aristocrat, a leading global provider of gaming solutions, has underlined its intent to enter the Spanish low stake gaming market with the opening of a new subsidiary, Aristocrat Technologies Spain, S.L. Based in Barcelona, the new entity is headed by two highly experienced aficionados of ‘Type B’ games, Jaime Riera Mendoza and Josep Carreras Pallares.

Jaime spent a decade, between 1997 and 2007, as General Manager of one of Spain’s most successful amusement and gaming distributors and, in addition to high profile roles across a number of technological sectors, holds several Diplomas, Degrees and Higher Degrees in mathematical, computing, business administration and management disciplines.

Josep, who also boasts an impressive academic record with both MBA and PhD qualifications as well as an ongoing professorial role, has 28 years’ amusement and gaming industry experience, most recently serving alongside Jaime as Technical Director.
