TCSJohnHuxley's Latin American operation has announced the largest order of Copag casino gaming cards with Thunderbird Resorts. Thunderbird Resorts is an international provider of branded casino entertainment and hospitality services, focused mainly on markets in Central and South America, Southeast Asia, India and Eastern Europe. The initial order of over 250,000 decks was placed for the Fiesta Casinos in Panama and Peru. However, the intention is to extend the corporate deal to other divisions within the Thunderbird group in the near future.
Alberto Loaiza, Thunderbird Resorts VP Operations Latin America, spent 3 days with David Charnock , TCSJohnHuxley's VP Sales for Central and South America, at the Copag Factory in Manaus, Brazil. The time was well spent visiting the local area and undertaking a complete tour of Copag's installations. Loaiza was extremely impressed with what he saw and commented:
"The Copag operation is extremely well organised and the visit to the factory made me feel even more comfortable with the decision to work with TCSJohnHuxley and Copag on the corporate purchase of cards for the Thunderbird organisation." He continued, "The whole agreement offers excellent service, quality and very favourable terms for us as an organisation, which is why we made the decision. My intention is to roll out further within our group with this great deal."
Alberto Loaiza came up with some additional recommendations which he believes could further assist with the development of the Copag product. These include the installation of a security camera in the quality control department to replicate the view a casino surveillance manager would have when looking at cards from the security office. Copag have taken this very constructive comment on board and intend to implement it in the future.
Loaiza concluded "I had a great few days and was treated extremely well by both Marta Mateus, (Copag's International Business Director) and David and we look forward to a long mutually beneficial working relationship together". (E-03.18.10)
