Once again Bogotá has been receiving the manufacturers, service providers and industry professionals congregating in the city for the Andean Gaming Fair (FADJA). Today the doors open at the CORFERIAS Convention Centre and all the efforts of the stand designers and assemblers over the preceding months and days will be on view. FADJA 2008 is an extra special event as the exhibition is celebrating its 10th Anniversary.

Organiser 3A Promociones, under the expert direction of Jose Anibal Aguirre, is presenting over 140 companies to an international audience. The gaming equipment from around the world, which has taken advantage of the Transitory Free Port in the city, has an estimated value of more than seven million dollars. FADJA has the reputation of being the best selling show in the region, a reputation that is sure to be consolidated this year.

According to Jose Anibal Aguirre, “We are anticipating a significant increase in attendance of casino operators and investors following the work we have done over the last year. We arranged a series of specialized meetings in the countries where our exhibitors have target markets in order to ensure a wide audience for their goods and services.”

Apart from the 10th Anniversary celebrations there will be the II International Gaming Congress (CIJA) where Colombia will commemorate 25 years of legal gaming. Tribute will be paid to the organizations and businesses that have generated employment and funding for the health sector in this South American country as well as bringing international investment.
