Bally Technologies, Inc, a leader in slots, video machines and casino-management systems for the global gaming industry, has announced that it plans to present a wide assortment of advanced gaming products and technology at the SAGSE gaming show and conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina Oct. 15 – 17, including a new suite of progressive games and Quick Hit Platinum on the dramatic ALPHA Elite V32 cabinet.
Bally will showcase more than 40 unique ALPHA Elite game titles at its SAGSE booth #G-1 and G-16. One of the most exciting games to be displayed is Bally’s Power Strike series, a new concept in progressive video slots that allows gaming operators to build in the retail cost of a luxury item -- such as a motorcycle, boat, car, or vacation -- into the actual game math itself, allowing the cost of the item to be configured into the top jackpot award as if it were cash.
Bally will show two of its three Power Strike titles at SAGSE: Power Strike Golden 8s and Power Strike Golden Crown. Other new progressive products that will be on display include Reel Money, an exciting new reel-spinning local-area progressive slot in which players have the chance to win all five jackpots in one spin, including the top jackpot award that starts at $25,000. Bally will also highlight its seven-level Power Progressives series. Another booth highlight will be Bally’s new Treasure Series top-box games, featuring highly noticeable top boxes that provide high visibility on a casino floor and a new element of excitement.
Also featured will be Bally’s REEL Winners games, a breakthrough in gaming technology for slot machines that gives players two games for the price of one. With REEL Winners, the triggering mechanism is tied to the amount wagered on each spin. This “Easy Select” betting method rewards higher wagers with a single touch of a button. Bally will exhibit the modularity of its cabinets with its display of Quick Hit Platinum games on the ALPHA Elite V32 cabinet, a dramatic visual presentation featuring a 32-inch vertical touch-screen display. This configuration will allow gaming operators to convert their existing V32 cabinets to slot-style games, protecting their previously invested capital.
“The variety and depth of the product that we are presenting at this year’s SAGSE show exemplifies our unwavering commitment to putting the customer first in all that we do,” said Bally’s Chief Operating Officer Gavin Isaacs. “This is reflected in the modularity of our games, in our product development, and in the high levels of customer service and support that we strive to provide. We are focused on protecting our customers’ current investment and delivering products that perform on their floors.”
Along with a number of new game themes, Bally will demonstrate an extensive line-up of distinctive new cabinet styles. For the first time in South America, Bally is exhibiting its new ALPHA Elite Bar Top unit, the slot-maker’s first bar-top styled cabinet. Bally’s sleek new bar top features a 20-inch widescreen LCD display, yet is engineered to fit easily into industry-standard bar-top configurations, making it easier to replace older games. The unit also offers a player-friendly touch-screen interface.
Bally’s new CineReels cabinet introduces the world’s first seven-reel game configuration to the gaming industry. The platform’s unique “micro-stepping” technology provides a new level of rhythmic game play, including another industry first – true ‘reel-stop’ functionality for unsurpassed player control. At SAGSE, Bally will showcase CineReels with a number of game themes including Reel Money, Bonus Frenzy Free Games, Hot Shot Progressive Bonus Frenzy, and Hot Shot Progressive Winning Times.
John Connelly, Bally’s Vice President of International and Gaming Operations, said, “Our strong showcase at SAGSE reflects the continued momentum in our international business, and we are particularly excited about South America. We are showcasing a powerful variety of games and cabinets with features that appeal to players in the region. The depth of our product line addresses South America’s exciting and diverse casino industry and the unique dynamics of each country.” (E-09.30.08)
