Legislators in Macau will decide today whether to pass the revised tobacco control bill. Smoking will be banned in most work places from January 2012. Casinos will have to make half their floor area non-smoking but will be given until January 2013 to comply. Some lawmakers believe casinos should be exempt from any new smoking restrictions.
