On the 14 of April Russian Association “World of Games” was celebrating its 1st anniversary, and they have achieved much during their first year. The organization has participated in the dialogue concerning the Russian Federal Gaming Law and, as a result, there is a consensus that indicates that the draft was not good for the industry.

In May 2004 the "World of Games" organized a Conference, which was held in the “President-hotel” (Moscow), where representatives of the Russian gaming industry adopted a declaration of further development in the activities concerning gaming in Russia.

The Association is working with officials and representatives of industry to clarify legislative regulation of the gaming business, and started publishing the magazine “World of Games” last year. This informative publication is now one of the most readable magazines on Russian gaming business and is representative of the industry's aspirations for a regulated gaming environment. Additionally, the Association has also published some books on Russian gaming.

Today, Russian Association World of Games is an organiser of the Exhibition and Congress “World of Games”, which will be held in Moscow next June 9-11. It can be said with confidence that it is only the beginning and the fledgling Russian Association World of Games has a good chance of becoming a leading gaming institution in one of the world's major gambling markets.
