The Gaming & Amusement Expo Mexico - GAMMEX 2009 - has announced a date change for its Mexico City event, to10-11 June. Show Manager Izkrah Pinto said that the postponement from its original April date has been a concession to events planning with the city’s World Trade Center venue. GAMMEX 2009 aims to get together all the gaming sectors in the country, from route and amusement businesses, which are the basis of the industry, to the new games and betting parlors licensed under current Federal legislation.
Pinto commented: “We’ve had several requests for a date change, and in principle we have acquiesced to some of these requests. Our desire has been to ensure that planning the event with the WTC in Mexico City falls in line with some of the gaming segments in our country”.
GAMMEX 2009 will take place on 10 & 11 June in the two principal halls at the World Trade Center, MAYA 1 and MAYA 2. The combined floor area of 5,800 m2 dedicated to exhibits for Mexico’s entire gaming sector promises to make GAMMEX 2009 a showcase for all those manufacturers and service providers wishing to enter this new and exciting market.
GAMMEX 2009 will also present eminent personalities from the gaming world to address current industry issues at a series of conferences and seminars. Expo visitors will be able to participate in discussions on legislation, marketing and gaming operations - themes concerning the future of the region's most promising market.
