In a recent visit to Peru, Edmond Elias Yunes, President of the Dominican Casinos Association, and an important operator in the Caribbean country and Elizabeth Leiva, organizer of the Dominican Republic event, made the last coordination for the Caribbean Gaming Show 2010. The major businessman of the Dominican gaming industry and CEO of EE Enterprises, enjoyed a few days of friendship and planned the last details for the implementation of CGS2010.

Yunes and Leiva had the opportunity to visit the most important Casinos in Lima, along with a selective delegation that traveled to Peru to share experiences, strengthen trade ties and learn more about the Peruvian gaming industry, meeting important personalities in the sector in this prosperous country. Representatives of Puerto Rico, Panama and other Caribbean countries met distinguised Peruvians friends and authorities.

Edmond Elias highlighted the valuable contribution that represents the production of the Caribbean Gaming Show & Conference in his country and has offered in advance all the necessary support to make this event his country a great success. Elias said: “We guarantee the presence of all senior executives of the Casinos, members of the Association, who are 36. We have also made available to the organization of CGS 2010 our contacts with the highest authorities in the country to give necessary facilities, within existing legal framework for manufacturers and interested parties who will be visiting our country, and show their latest products”.

Elias added: “We are also proud to host the III Latin American Game Encounter, which will be co-organize by the prestigious GLI Laboratory, who commented in Las Vegas, that are bringing together the most important authorities of the game, so that his presence enhance this III Encounter. So Dominican Republic will wait us on March 10 and 11, 2010”.

Elizabeth Leiva said that she was very satisfied with the international support received and said, "Our work results, speak for themselves. The Market knows the quality and professionalism, and rightly chooses where and with whom to participate. Despite being 2009 a very difficult year for many companies in the worldwide industry, that has left us most major challenges for 2010, which will be handled only and exclusively with hard work and intelligence. Without this last ingredient, increasingly, we will see fewer actors involved in the organization of international casino trade show, as we all have recently seen.” (E-12.16.09)
