The Andean region with more than 1,500 casinos and slots operations is the most vibrant and advanced gaming market in Latin America. Both Colombia and Peru boast year on year economic growth exceeding 6% per annum during the past 5-year period, in a market economy climate that has been practically outside the area of influence of financial constraint that has afflicted the major economies.
Almost fifteen years ago, 3A Producciones entered the gaming expo market organizing the Feria Andina de Juegos de Azar – FADJA, in Colombia. This show is the heartbeat event in Latin America, and has its home in exciting Bogota, at the newly refurbished Corferias Business and Expo Centre. Ecuador, Venezuela and Chile also form part of the Andean region and, gaming-wise, only Chile has a developed casino industry with 17 brand new entertainment resort properties plus promising potential in the slot machines business.
For this year’s FADJA 2012, 3A Producciones has entered into a strategic alliance with British firm Greata Limited, gaming marketing and operations consultants and publishers of industry global journal CasinoCompendium, to produce a set of four industry conferences at the next edition of the event.
Conferencias CasinoCompendium at FADJA 2012 will present four topical sessions for the local and international gaming professionals at the Protocol Salon in the Corferias venue. Over two days gaming authorities and experts will debate issues relating to the creation of the new Colombian regulator COLJUEGOS and the presidential decrees aimed at updating the local gambling industry.
All major casino and slots organizations have confirmed support for this event and will take part in a round table, seminars and conferences to air views and ideas related to current changes in local legislation and regulations, including online systems and operations. Finally, regional operation leaders, SAGSA, will celebrate this event with a brunch hosted by beautiful Miss Gaming International candidates.
With nearly ten years in global gaming industry communications and some thirty years in casino and marketing operations, CasinoCompendium staff has as a clear objective its full support for regulated gaming, and contribute to regional industry leader magazine Casino International Americano.
Ricki Chavez-Muñoz, Greata Limited CEO, said: “Our firm made its entry into the gaming industry communications almost 10 years ago, supporting events in Europe and Africa as conference speakers on diverse topics related to those markets. Our association with FADJA is a continuation of this work.
