Live Table Games Debut at Delaware Park on June 18

WILMINGTON, Delaware - 17 June, 2010: Get ready to double down on casino action as Delaware Park goes “all-in” beginning at noon on June 18 with the opening of table games at the Casino at Delaware Park. Guests will be able to enjoy 42 different games, including blackjack, roulette, craps, mini and midi baccarat, Let it Ride, Texas Hold’em, Three-Card Poker, Four-Card Poker and Pai-Gow Poker.

“Our team has been working hard to ensure the rollout of table games is as exciting for our gaming guests as it is for all of us at Delaware Park,” said Delaware Park Chief Operating Officer Andrew Gentile. “We’ve been anticipating this day for a long time and our team members can’t wait to provide our guests with an exceptional gaming experience.”

All table games will be available throughout the first and second levels of the expansive non-smoking casino, which is located just off I-95 at exit 4B in Delaware. The Poker Room features 20 poker tables on the casino’s second level.

“We will be showcasing some popular West Coast games in addition to the traditional East Coast favorites,” Gentile said. “Poker has become the game of choice in recent years and players will have a lot of options. We will even offer games such as H.O.R.S.E. (a combination of Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, Stud, and Stud 8/B), which tend to create a lot of action, bigger pots and consequently, a more electric environment.”

Table games are the perfect complement to Delaware Park’s many diverse entertainment and dining options. “We are now the one-stop gaming and entertainment destination in this area.” Gentile said.

The Casino at Delaware Park is open twenty-four hours a day, except Easter and Christmas.
