Casino Miami Jai-Alai, an $87 million casino expansion of Miami Jai-Alai, celebrated its opening yesterday with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:00 p.m. followed by the doors opening to the public immediately after. The new 40,000 square foot expansion project boasts a variety of entertainment options including: a state of the art casino featuring 1,050 Las Vegas style slot machines; Poker and Dominoes; a renovated Jai-Alai venue; live shows such as concerts and boxing; a new restaurant and four full-service bars, including two that will feature live music and entertainment.
Florida Gaming Corporation’s Chairman, William B. Collett stated, “The successful construction and development of Casino Miami Jai-Alai is a result of the cooperative efforts of dedicated employees, committed management team, contractors, vendors and countless others who worked in tandem to ensure this day would come to fruition.”
