The gaming industry got its first glimpse of the future of table games at the 1999 World Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. At that show, DigiDeal first unveiled its hosted DCS (Digital Card System) and reactions were mixed. Most saw it as a brilliant innovation that would change the table game industry forever while a few skeptics said the players would never trust a computer. In just over ten years the skeptics have been proven wrong as nearly every game in today’s casino incorporates some type of computer software or RNG (Random Number Generator). And both players and operators around the world are embracing DigiDeal’s proprietary e-table technology.
We spoke to Luke Kuhn, Product Support lead, about DigiDeal’s products and the company’s plans for the future.
CC: We have been following DigiDeal’s progress almost since the beginning when we saw the best table game hybrid in the market, around 2003. How many products does the company market now?
LK: “Yes we have come a long way from our original DCS product. Our goal has always been to have the most innovative product and to be able to offer a table game solution for any jurisdiction. Whether it be virtual cards, virtual chips, or a combo of virtual cards/physical chips or physical cards and virtual chips we have a solution…… I know all those options get confusing but to put it in plain terms…we have more options than any other electronic table game manufacturer! This goal of providing endless solutions has led us to develop our 4 core products. Our DTS-C (virtual cards/physical chips), DTS-V (virtual cards/virtual chips), DTS-X (fully automated virtual cards/virtual chips), and our L2V (virtual chips/physical cards). The flexibility of our product line really shows that we do have a viable solution for any casino need!”
CC: I expect this has been an interesting year for Digideal, as the company managed a greater presence in Latin America.
LK: “Yes it has been an extremely productive year and we are looking forward to more success in 2012 in Latin America. We have seen a strong

demand for our products and there is currently nothing alike in Latin America. Most of the groundwork has been set, so we have large expectations for next year."
CC: Also, DigiDeal signed a distribution agreement with TCSJOHNHUXLEY. How is the partnership shaping up?
LK: We are excited to work with the TCSJH team and have enjoyed the market knowledge that they have throughout the various international markets. This has been a great help to expand our presence and get our product into the hands of those customers who have been interested in having the DigiDeal product for quite some time now.”
CC: Are you exhibiting at ICE 2012 in London?
LK: “This year we are looking forward to be a part of TCSJH Access All Areas event in London. We had a good showing at their Las Vegas event and we expect to see the same in London."
CC: Will you be exhibiting a new product for the market?
LK: “We will be showing our L2V product, our hybrid table that has physical cards and the players bet with virtual chips.”
CC: What are your plans for 2012 in relation to Latin America?
LK: “We are focused on building strong relationships in Latin America, both with our distributors and operators. Thankfully we have seen high demand and are planning for continued growth into 2012. With market interest in Argentina, Peru, Chile, & Colombia we are very pleased with our current situation. We have great distribution channels and a great product that is entirely unique so we can only expect a great 2012 for DigiDeal in Latin America.” (E-12.22.11)
